"Falkenbergs Jazz- och Bluesförening" (Falkenberg Jazz and Blues society) organizes jazz and blues concerts in Falkenberg, Sweden (100 km south of Gothenburg).
Falkenberg Jazz Festival
"Falkenbergs Jazzdagar" is our summer festival, held in mid-July each year since 1989. The festival takes place in the garden at "Värdshuset Hwitan" (an eighteenth-century hotel and restaurant), just down by the riverside of Ätran.
The opening night features a couple of blues bands.
During the rest of the festival week
"Ewan Svensson Quartet" has
invited a number of jazz musicians to play as guest artists.
The festival also provides concerts with young local jazz and blues bands.
